The 1098 R is more powerful and track-oriented supersports bike than the normal 1098. Its revised suspension, air intake and exhaust systems make it louder and more feisty than the average Ducati 1098. Its 1198.4cc engine delivers 20 hp more than the standard model on a 17 lbs. lighter bike. This single seater supersport motorcycle comes with Ducati's Traction Control system as standard equipment.
