DUCATI 1098 1099 (2007 - 2008) Description & History: Introduced in 2007, the new Ducati 1098 super sport bike came as a replacement for the 999 model. However, it took more design cues from the older 998 model. The bike sported a slicker and more aggressive design, with sharp headlamps and nose. The 1099cc L-twin Testastretta Evoluzione engine produced 160 hp at 9750 rpm, making it the most powerful L-twin engine produced at the time. The bike had a full Showa performance suspension for high-end stability and handling.
