KAWASAKI ER-6n 649 (2008 - 2009) Description & History: The 2008 Kawasaki ER-6n is the first model to receive a major redesign. On the visual side, a lot of elements have changed: a new, more vertical headlight, new side panels, a completely redesigned instrument cluster, taller fuel tank, LED trail lights and an inner fender.
The frame of the 2008 ER-6n is all-new, but it still sports the offset rear shock and low-mounted exhaust. Though the power specs have remained the same, the engine has been tuned for a more responsive character in the mid-range. This means riders will have more fun at medium speed in the city, and will enjoy the smoother power delivery under 4000 rpm.
