CAN-AM/ BRP DS 450 X XC 450 (2010 - 2011) Description & History: Engineered for fast wood trail-racing, the 2010 Can-Am DS 450 X XC is another upgraded version of the original DS 450. Created for riding aggressive riding on rough terrain with obstacles and varying ground types, this quad comes with an advanced no-weld aluminium frame, hollow rear axle and inverted brake calipers, keeping weight to a minimum and thus offer better performance.
The 2010 Can-Am DS 450 X XC is a racing machine: its 449cc engine is coupled to a sport-specced 5-speed manual gearbox with a heavy-duty clutch, designed to offer the best power delivery in all circumstances. The frame sits on adjustable KYB HPG C46 and C40 piggyback shocks and polished aluminium wheels with Wilwood brake discs, all ready for hard riding on the unwelcoming forest roads. Additional features, such as the aluminium bumper with number plate and the aluminium race-type handlebars make this quad look good, too.
