KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-6R 599 (2008 - 2009) Description & History: The 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a 599cc sport bike in the Kawasaki middleweight segment. The frame of the 2008 model is based on the ZX600P model, but went under further refinement for increased rigidity, while the die-cast aluminium 2-piece sub-frame allows for a very compact and slim rear end.
The 2008 ZX-6R engine has been tuned for a more useable mid-range segment and this makes the bike easier to handle at lower rpm, thus suitable for city rides as well. The 2008 version has also received redesigned instrument cluster and a new exhaust look. Being more than 10kg lighter than the previous models, the 2008 ZX-6R comes with more grit for more thrilling fun.
Adjustable Showa suspensions and a racing-type steering damper are standard equipment for safer riding on multiple road surfaces.
