CAGIVA MITO SP 525 125 (2008 - Present) Description & History: The Italian motorcycle manufacturer unveiled a road legal version of the SP525 in 2008, called the MITO SP525. The SP525 was first introduced in concept mode at the 2006 Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) as a homage to the Cagiva GP500 racing bike. Following the good impression the concept bike made, the Italian producer decided to make it road legal and send it to production. The result is the MITO SP525 powered by a 125 cc two-stroke engine that came with several changes from the racing SP525 version, the most notable being the Electronic Carburetion System (developed in conjunction with Dell'Orto). The system controls the mix of air and fuel, oil mix and ignition and makes the bike comply with Euro 3 emissions in standard.
