On the tech side, the most noticeable additions are the the 3-way adjustable dynamic power steering, solid front and rear bumpers and the powerful winch. The looks are upgraded by means of black cast aluminium wheels, mudguards, or Camo and Pure Magnesium color options.

The 2011 Can-Am Outlander MAX 650 XT sports all the nifty mechanical features which have made the series a premier choice for the off-road enthusiasts: independent suspensions, selectable 2/4WD and high/low ratios, engine braking and auto-locking front differential. When riding solo or when large amounts of luggage have to be hauled, the modular passenger seat can be removed for installing a cargo box.
