DUCATI Monster 796 803 (2010 - Present) Description & History: The Italian motorcycle manufacturer introduced in April 2010 the new Monster 796 naked bike. With this model Ducati tried to listen to its customers and field a mid-range bike on the market, one that would better balance the user-friendliness of the 696 with the exhilarating performance of the 1100. The Monster 796 features revised seating position and shape, raised handlebars for an improved posture and seating position. The new 796 Desmodue unit powering the new Monster bike has 803cc, produces 87 hp at 8250 rpm and complies with Euro 3 emissions standard.
