KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-6R 599 (2006 - 2007) Description & History: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has received a refined tuning for 2006. The 599cc liquid-cooled, In-line four-cylinder, 16-valve engine now sports a revised exhaust valve angle and better intake ports for enhanced combustion and better fuel efficiency.

The exhaust pre-chamber underneath the engine allows the use of a smaller and lighter silencer under the seat. Given its high position, the lighter construction also helps lowering the center of gravity for better balance in fast, sharp turns.

The CofG is also lowered by the introduction of upside-down forks, with the springs completely submerged in oil for better damping and less frothing. 300mm petal brake rotors are now 6mm thick for a firmer, more controllable and dependable stopping force adding to the overall confidence.
