KAWASAKI KX450F 449 2008 - 2009

KAWASAKI KX450F 449 (2008 - 2009) Description & History: After adding a 5th gear to the 2006 year model, it was time for electronic fuel injection to be installed in the new 2008 Kawasaki KX450F. The Keihin carb has been replaced by a top-drawer fuel injection system providing an even more better power distribution across the rpm range with zero lag.

Frame got narrower while the swingarm was redesigned and a new Uni-Trak rear shock got a larger piston (50mm) for better efficiency. A Renthal race-type handlebar was also provided, together with wider serrated foot pegs and a synthetic, lighter skidplate. With a 340 ground clearance, the 2008 KX450F is simply the best Kawasaki has offered to the release date.
