YAMAHA YZF-R6 600 (2009 - Present) Description & History: Yamaha's YZF-R6 is a 600 cc sport bike, first introduced in 1999, updated in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2009 and revised in the years in between. The 2009 YZF-R6 was first presented at Las Vegas along with his bigger brother, the YZF-R1. The R6 hasn't changed much from the last model, in fact the greater update brought to this motorbike is the ECU (Engine Control Unit), along with small, slightly changes in terms of design.
