YAMAHA MT-01 1670 (2005 - Present) Description & History: Before the MT-01, the Yamaha designers presented a 1670cc Road Warrior on a FJR chassis. It was not a very good idea, so they changed it with a R1 frame. Finally they changed 90% of the components and the MT-01 got a new 48 degrees V-twin with 66.3 kW at 4750rpm and a torque of 150 Nm at 3750rpm.
