DUCATI 1198 1198 (2009 - Present) Description & History: In 2009 Ducati launched the successor of the 1098 Superbike model, namely the 1198 also called the "Eleven-nine-eight". Although the bike features in most part the same exterior design, it delivers more power thanks to its 1198.4cc L-Twin cylinder engine that is rated now at 170 horsepower at 9750 rpm. The 1198 features fully adjustable 43mm Showa forks, with an additional special low friction titanium oxide treatment applied to the sliders. The Ducati 1198 Superbike is Euro3 compliant and comes in Red (black / grey) - Pearl white (black / grey) paint schemes.
