DUCATI Hypermotard 796 803 (2010 - Present) Description & History: Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, introduced a new Hypermotard model at 2009 EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan. Dubbed the Hypermotard 796, this new supermotard bike fits perfectly in the Italian brand's lineup as a more accessible bike. The Hypermotard 796 has a seat lowered by 20mm compared to the 1100 models and delivers linear power for an easy and comfortable ride. Its smaller size engine is perfect for daily use as well as occasional motorway journeys. Although called 796, this model has a 803cc engine, which delivers 81 hp at 8000 rpm. The bike complies with Euro 3 exhaust emissions standard.
