APRILIA RSV 1000 998 (1998 - 2003) Description & History: Aprilia had a great success in 1998, when the RSV1000 was launched and since then, there have been a lot of different models of the V-Twin machine. RSV 1000cc models have included standard versions such as the Mille models from 1998-2003, before changing the name from Mille to simply the RSV1000R as the standard model when major design changes were made in 2004. The special models have included the SBK homologation Mille SP in 2000, the Noriyuki Haga replica in 2002, and the Colin Edwards replica in 2003. After all these, in 2004 the first of the RSV1000R Factory model was released. For 2006 there are the standard RSV1000R and also the RSV1000R Factory version available.
