BMW R 1200 GS 1170 (2007 - Present) Description & History: In 2007 BMW Motorrad introduced the new updated version of the 2004 R 1200 GS bike. While the bike retained its engine as well as its overall design line, BMW Motorrad division operated some technical changes. The R 1200 GS is BMW's best-selling motorcycle to date. The new model features a new Integral ABS II braking system without servo assistance and adds electronic suspension adjustment (ESA) and automatic stability control (ASC) as options.
