BMW K 1600 GT 1600 (2011 - Present) Description & History: Everybody was waiting for the 6-cylinder in-line engine ever since the German brand introduced it on the Concept 6 in autumn 2009. The first motorbike model to incorporate such a unit saw daylight a year later. With the new K 1600 GT and K 1600 GTL, BMW has also debuted another first in the industry: Adaptive Headlight. The rider can choose from three different modes (Rain, Road and Dynamic) and can also benefit from the the traction control function DTC, which is available as an option. Other features included on both models comprise E-Gas (ride-by-wire) and Electronic Suspension Adjustment II (ESA II).
